SCS Group, initially started as a window cleaning business in 1976, by William H Roddie and Robert N Roddie, a father and son partnership. It continues now still being family ran with Robert and Lynda, a husband and wife partnership, along with their daughter Aileen.
Developing a reputation for providing / supplying quality workmanship and customer care, it was a natural progression to diversify into the industry. Pest Control solutions and office maintenance services were brought into the business, and to this day, still have the reach and capabilities nationwide. Our effective project management and attendance have proved extremely productive, and garnered many success stories, in our new multi-faceted companies. In April 2000 SCS construction was formed specialising in supplying and fitting partitions, ceilings, fire doors and all types of joinery works. We have been fortunate to have received many awards for our commitment to Health and Safety, quality workmanship and punctuality. Some of our major projects have been The Radisson Hotel Glasgow, Aurora Office Complex Glasgow, the award-winning Riverside Transport Museum, Kelvingrove art gallery and museum, Cumbernauld High School and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
SCS Electrical incorporated in December 2005 specialising in the design support and installation of all mechanical and engineering services we carry out on and off-site support throughout the UK. Our expert technicians and engineers are tried and tested in all aspects of electrical and mechanical and engineering fit outs. All staff are comfortable whilst working in schools, hospitals, distillers, manufacturing plants or the petrol chemical industry.
