Robert N Roddie, Managing director of SCS Group is a certified Associate Member of the Institute since April 2000, In recognition of supervisory experience in the cleaning industry.

BRITISH INSTITUTE OF FACILITES MANAGEMENT

SCS Group was admitted Sustaining Corporate of the British Institute of Facilities Management in 2004.

SCS Group, was awarded the prestigious supplier excellence award by Freescale Semiconductors UK Ltd.

SCS Group achieved the award through outstanding service and commitment to excellence in support of Freescale operations, helping them to achieve their performance goals. SCS Group was presented with this award in 2004 and 2006.

Robert N Roddie, Managing Director of SCS Group, whose company had provided cleaning and support services to the site for many years, was delighted to accept the award on each occasion. His thanks went out to all of his site team, many of whom had long service with the company and live in East Kilbride and Hamilton areas. He said that without their commitment, loyalty and hard work, the award would not have been possible. He added that it certainly was a great boost for the service industry to be recognised in this way and was looking forward to continuing his close business relationship with Freescale Semiconductors.

SCS Group is proud to have been recognised as a Qualified Supplier through the Link-up Qualification Scheme. Achilles, the global supply chain management company, is an advanced portal used to register and pre-qualify suppliers.

SCS Construction Ltd achieved preferred supply chain status with Morgan Ashurst in recognition of their commitment to being a high performing partner, striving for excellence.

National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting

SCS Group was assessed as having the technical capability to carry out Electrical Installation work in accordance with the requirements of BS7671 and is Enrolled or Registered for work carried out under the Approved Contractor Category.

Preferred status allows SCS Group to be one of 4 sub-contractors pricing the works, which invariably leads to repeat business and a partnering relationship of over 20 years.

BAM Construction Ltd granted SCS Construction Ltd Contractor of the Year for our outstanding safety performance and a lasting contribution to the Riverside Museum, Glasgow Royal Infirmary – CPU and Glasgow Royal Infirmary – A&E.

The Chairman and Trustees of the Riverside Museum Appeal Trust were pleased to recognise the support given by SCS Group toward the creation of the new Riverside Museum.
